We are excited to be partnering with Maya Moon Cafe for this gathering at Duomo Gardens! We’ll be starting with a simply opening ceremony at 9am to bless our souls, our besom building materials and our time together in order to make it better. We’ll be hand selecting botanicals from our garden to infuse into the heart opening cacao that we’ll be drinking and sharing. Soon there after we’ll start the broom workshop by talking about how to think and make our whisk brooms. If this is your first time making a broom, we’ll get into the basics of broom making in order to give you a good foundation to build your craft confidence. If you already have taken a broom class we’ll explore next steps to becoming more skilled at besom creations. At the end of the session everyone will take home their whisk broom! bAM

The other reason we have decide to offer this workshop together is to build community alongside Maya Moon Cafe and celebrate their 5th Anniversary . Maya will be having a Wellness Festival at their location in Normal Heights the next day, Sunday Aug 23, from 11-5pm. You are invited to come and enjoy lots of fun and beneficials activations…..and to meet great people.

The experience is $77 and includes all materials and beverages throughout our time together.
